Areas of activity:

Work on the Commercial Civil Transport chain in its entirety, not only on the "Flight" aspect, but also on the "Ground" issue, with several challenges:

• Maintaining the efficiency of short- and medium-haul air transport;
• Keeping air transport competitive with rail, road, etc...

• Defend the TA vis-à-vis aircraft "bashing".
• Reflect on the challenge of social/political acceptability, the challenge of economic efficiency, the challenge of competition and the challenge of the complete journey;

• Produce synthesis papers on topical issues (B737 MAX) and reflect on the challenge of social/political acceptabilitythe challenge of social/political acceptability, the challenge of economic efficiency, the challenge of competition and the challenge of the full trip.
• Define ourselves in relation to the current challenges posed by the pandemic,
• Examine the alternatives to carbon-based energies,
• Provide a forum for anyone wishing to get involved in air transport.

Activities :

• Periodic meetings ;
• Organization of study days/conferences;
• Production of monographs: the first, "Enjeux et perspectives du transport court et moyen- courrier", was produced in June 2012.
• Participation in teaching courses on commercial aviation.
• Organization of student forums (3 to date), on the theme of redefining the scope of TA activities through diversification: three reports issued within 3AF as evidence of the results of these forums.
