Areas of activity:
The Test Commission deals with flight and ground tests on aircraft, spacecraft, launchers, satellites, their engines and systems. It deals with test processes and methods, their specific constraints and the solutions provided by experts in terms of measurement and acquisition resources, data processing, monitoring and control devices, test infrastructures, etc.
For over ten years now, the 3AF Trials Commission has been organizing regular twice-yearly theme days, enabling its twenty or so permanent members to engage in technical exchanges with recognized experts on selected topics. Topics of interest are pre-selected by the Commission bureau and debated during theme days with all participants to gather new ideas, new needs and finally determine which will be retained for the next meeting.
The following criteria are taken into account:
- Technological advances in a given field;
- Evolution of industrial processes;
- Appearance of new standards, recommendations or changes in regulations;
- Absence or scarcity of literature in a particular field.
Activities :
- 2 theme days per year, including technical visits;
- Participation in the ETTC symposium in conjunction with the Midi Pyrénées regional group.
