From pilotless to short-haul aircraft

FROM PILOTLESS TO SHORT-HAUL AIRCRAFT

Demonstrators of particularly economical concepts

The Light Aviation and Related Machines Commission of the Association Aéronautique et Astronautique de France (3AF) invites you to a conference entitledconference entitled "FROM PILOTLESS AIRCRAFT TO SHORT-ROUTED AIRCRAFT, DEMONSTRATORS OF PARTICULARLY ECONOMICAL CONCEPTS".

This conference will be held in person at Strasbourg International Airport, in partnership with the Groupement des Ingénieurs et Cadres Supérieurs de l'Aviation Civile (GIACRE).

It will be led by Michel Kieffer, founder and president of C-TECAT, Cursus Transition Énergétique, conception aéronautique et Transports (a companyformerly in charge of the Aeronautics, Transport and Energy specialization at CMI-ATE, Université Paris-Nanterre.

In addition to the design of these aircraft, the production, ground tests and flight tests of the untethered hybrid 5 aircraft, demonstrator of a particularly economical regional transport aircraft, will be discussed. The aircraft 5 will be on display at the conference.

Also on show will be a concept for a short-haul jumbo jet whose energy requirements are close to those of high-speed trains.

The unmanned aircraft produced and tested on the ground and in flight are industrialized, designed with a view to reducing costs by simplifying systems, and comply with the key points of the CS23 aeronautical regulations.
