New aircraft functions for flight operations

Organised by "Midi-Pyrénées"

The aeronautical industry is in a state of flux. Operational challenges have never been so complex, requiring aircraft and air traffic control to constantly adapt to new technologies.

We invite you to a conference presented by :

  • Pierre Charles Rolland, Airlines Operations (ex Airbus)

  • Philippe Labeaute, Systems Architect (ex Airbus)

Program:

Evolving operational conditions: we'll be analyzing how transatlantic routes (NATs) are managed; the impact of reducing minimum separations and optimizing trajectories, not forgetting the critical management of weather conditions.

New Onboard Features : Highlighting innovations that guarantee safety and efficiency; the widespread adoption ofEFB (Electronic Flight Bag) to replace paper documents, advanced performance tools for fuel optimization and the Brake to Vacate system for optimized runway departure. The integration ofAirport Navigation is also crucial for fluidity on the ground.

The Evolution of Air Traffic Control: How modern technologies are transforming traffic management. We'll look at FANS (Future Air Navigation System),ADS-C for real-time surveillance even without radar, and CPDLC to minimize communication errors between pilot and controller.

Future developments: Finally, we'll offer a perspective on the coming innovations that will redefine commercial aviation.
