Areas of activity:

Establish and ensure the dissemination of information on the state of the art in his field of expertise, and identify key technologies and disciplines in the field concerned.

Promote awareness of technical developments outside the aerospace world that may be of interest in its field of expertise.

Establish recommendations on priorities for research and industrial development, including industrial processes, methods and tools, as well as regulatory developments.

Liaise with other 3AF Technical Commissions and international committees, with priority given to CEAS.

Activities :

Periodic meetings.

Internal seminars.

Theme days/workshops: 2 per year, sometimes in conjunction with other 3AF commissions. Although focused on aeronautics and space, these days are open to all fields of mechanics (land and sea transport, energy production, etc.).

The 3AF Structures Commission is run by the 3AFS Technical Committee. The 3AFS Technical Committee currently has 23 members. Membership of the 3AFS Technical Committee is obtained by co-option or spontaneous application, after deliberation at a Committee meeting.

All applications should be addressed to the Chairman of the Structures Commission, together with an expression of interest and a CV.
