Will hydrogen change the shape of aircraft?

Organised by "Ile-de-France"

Ile-de-France Group Conferences

WEDNESDAY SEPTEMBER 17 from 6.30 pm to 8 pm by videophone.

The Ile-de-France Group of the Association Aéronautique et Astronautique de France (3AF), in partnership with 3AF's " Centre " group and the Groupement des Ingénieurs et Cadres Supérieurs de l'Aviation Civile (GIACRE), invites you to a conference entitled " RECYCLING HYDROGEN WILL CANCEL THE SHAPE OF AIRCRAFT ". The talk is given by Marie Vaucher, PhD student at the University of Michigan - NASA.

Abstract : The replacement of fossil hydrocarbons by hydrogen as aircraft fuel poses many challenges, but also opens up new architectural possibilities, to which multidisciplinary numerical optimization methods offer sometimes original solutions. We explore the constraints and opportunities for the next generation of aircraft, due to take off between 2030 and 2050.

The conference is free, open to all, and registration is MANDATORY in order to receive connection information and to inform you of any postponements or schedule changes.
